How does it feel to represent the US as an All-American, while trying to represent the UK in the Steeple as well?

It's pretty cool, as running for Great Britain and the U.S gives me the best chances for racing from both teams.

What was your most memorable race/competition?
Where did you face your biggest competition? At the NYS Meet in the 3k Steeple, and at Footlocker Finals for XC

What were your greatest accomplishments?
Winning States in the 3k steeple and setting a NYPHSAA meet and PHS state record

You're NY #3 All-Time in both the 2k and 3k Steeple. How does it feel to know that your name is the one people will be looking up to when they attack the Steeple in the future. Does one record mean more to you than the other?
The 3k steeple definitely means more to me as that's the better distance for me. Going sub-9 is definitely a good mark for others to aim for I feel.

How do you fit in your triathlon training around training for Steeple, Collegiate XC? Do you plan on continuing to train with your current group, which includes many great such as Alan Webb.
I train more for triathlon during the summer, I just use the bike and swim training as cross-training when I'm in Track/XC season.

If you could do it all over again what would you change about your running career in high school?
Maybe do more training my first 2 years.

What were the most difficult obstacles you had to overcome?
Steeple barriers, they suck to hit.

What will you miss the most?
Getting to talk and give advice to all the younger athletes, helping hem improve

What advice you would give to younger athletes?Set a goal, and work for it. It should be hard, but not so hard you can't ever achieve it.

What influence has your coach had with respect to your performance and overall life goals?
A lot. Coach Glover made me improve a ton when I transferred to MW. He was an amazing coach, and he really unlocked my potential as an athlete.

What are your college plans?
Running for the University at Buffalo, hopefully making NCAA finals in the Steeplechase my freshman or sophomore year.

You originally went to school in Section 6. Did that influence your decision to attend University at Buffalo?
I used to live right next to the University, and I definitely knew the area really well, which certainly influenced my decision.

Any more rubix cube achievements since Nationals, with all the free time over the summer? How do you pick which ones to take to college?
I've gotten a few small improvements in my Rubik's Cube, with a new 5x5 and 6x6 PR (1:31 and 3:08 respectively). With any luck I might be able to start a cubing club in college.

Who would you like to say thank you to?
Thanks to my teammate for inspiring me with some great performances, and to my family for not getting in the way and supporting my need for shoes which only last a few weeks at a time.

Is there anything else you'd like to add?
Thanks to Milesplit for getting me through the majority of study halls at school; without it, i would have been really bored, and no, i won't stop my Milesplt Stalkin'.
