Harding Track in Action on Friday at Arkansas State

JONESBORO, Ark. – Harding's indoor track and field teams return to action Friday and Saturday at the ASTATE Invitational. The action begins Friday at noon on the 200-meter flat track in the Convocation Center and continues Saturday at 9 a.m.

The meet will be Harding's second straight at Arkansas State to open the season. The teams also competed at the Kickoff Klassic in December.

The Lady Bisons, ranked 15th in the NCAA II South Central Region, will send 17 student-athletes into action. Harding's top performer of the young season is senior Cathy Ebenja, who recorded a converted time of 7.62 in the 60 meters at the Kickoff Klassic. She is ranked sixth nationally in the 60 meters.

The Bisons are also ranked 15th regionally and will send 15 student-athletes into competition. Senior sprinter Milton Stewart is one to watch for Harding in the meet. Stewart's personal-best times in the 55 meters and 200 meters are both on the cusp of provisional qualification for the NCAA national meet. He will be in action in both events in Jonesboro.
