CAPE GIRARDEAU, Mo. – Harding University junior
Tiffany Chambers broke her own school record in the indoor pole vault on Friday at the SEMO Redhawks Invitational.
Chambers, a native of Rogers, Ark., cleared 11 feet, 6.25 inches to break her previous mark of 11-05.75, set earlier this season at the ASTATE Invitational in Jonesboro, Ark.
Chambers missed at 12 feet, a height that would have guaranteed a spot at the NCAA II Indoor National Meet. She currently ranks 25th in Division II with the top 18-20 receiving invitations for nationals.
