JONESBORO, Ark. - The Harding women's indoor track team set three school records and recorded two NCAA provisional marks Friday and Saturday at the ASTATE Invitational, hosted by Arkansas State University at the Convocation Center.

Junior Tiffany Chambers, a native of Rogers, Ark., broke her own school record in the pole vault. Chambers cleared 11 feet, 5.75 inches to provisionally qualify for the NCAA Division II Indoor National Championship. She broke her previous record of 10-11.75 by a full six inches.

Fortuna, Calif., native Rhiannon Roper broke two school records, setting new marks in both the shot put and weight throw. On her first of three attempts in the shot put, Roper recorded a mark of 36 feet, 7 inches, breaking her own record of 36-02.25.

Roper shattered the old mark in the weight throw. She eclipsed the 40-foot mark with a throw of 40-06.75, topping the previous record of 37-03.00 by more than three feet.

Freshman Ewa Zaborowska, running her first career indoor race, won the 800 meters in 2 minutes, 14.66 seconds. It was the sixth-fastest 800-meter time recorded by a Division II runner this season and provisionally qualified her for the national meet.

Harding had two other top-10 finishes in the meet. Senior Cathy Ebenja placed fourth in the 55-meter dash in 7.15 seconds. Freshman Dallis Bailey finished just behind Zaborowska in the 800 meters, finishing seventh in 2:21.41.
