Three Provisionals, One School Record for HU Women's Track at Ole Miss

OXFORD, Miss. – Harding women's track and field recorded three NCAA provisional marks and broke one school record Saturday at the Ole Miss Invitational.

Freshman Ewa Zaborowska placed second in the 1,500 meters in 4:32.81 to record her second provisional time of the season. She has also provisionally qualified for nationals in the 800 meters.

Senior Cathy Ebenja placed fifth of 50 runners in the 100-meter dash in a personal-best time of 11.88 seconds. A provisional time, it was the first time in 18 career races that Ebenja ran the 100-meter dash in under 12 seconds.

Junior Tiffany Chambers broke her own school record in the pole vault and provisionally qualified for nationals with a height of 11 feet, 9.75 inches. Chambers' new mark broke the old record of 11-06.25, set last season in Huntsville, Ala.

Ebenja also ran the 200 meters, placing eighth of 69 runners with a personal-best time of 24.69. Freshman Dallis Bailey placed seventh of 55 runners in the 800 meters in 2:15.58, and sophomore Kristen Celsor was seventh in the high jump with a leap of 5 feet, 5 inches.
