Lively, Belcher Victorious for Men's Track at Harding Bison Classic

Taylor Lively won the 1,500 meters in 4:00.06.
SEARCY – Harding men's track and field placed second of eight teams and posted two event victories at the Harding Bison Challenge on Saturday at Ted Lloyd Track.
 
Harding finished with 160 points, 12 behind event winner Missouri S&T.
 
Landon Belcher, a sophomore from Keller, Texas, defeated 15 other competitors to win the 400 meters in 48.76 seconds. It was his first career event victory.
 
Taylor Lively, a sophomore from Lake Dallas, Texas, also captured his first career event victory. He won the 1,500 meters over 24 other competitors in 4:00.06
 
Harding had more than 30 student-athletes compete at the meet.
 
The Bisons return to Oxford, Miss., next Saturday to compete at the Mississippi Open.
