SEARCY – Junior Tiffany Chambers, senior Cathy Ebenja, and freshman Ewa Zaborowska of the Harding women's outdoor track and field team received NCAA Division II All-South Central Region honors from the United States Track and Field and Cross Country Coaches Association.

To receive All-Region honors, a student-athlete must have one of the top five times or marks in the region in an individual event. The South Central Region includes student-athletes from the Lone Star, Great American, MIAA and Heartland conferences.

Chambers, a native of Rogers, Ark., ranked fifth in the region in the pole vault. She had a season-best and school record height of 12 feet.
Ebenja, of Little Rock, Ark., was fourth regionally in the 100 meters with a time of 11.79 seconds.

Zaborowska, a native of Wejherowo, Poland, earned All-Region honors in two events. She had the top time in the region in the 800 meters at 2 minutes, 10.36 seconds. Zaborowska had the second-fastest 1,500 meter time at 4:28.57.

Ebenja and Zaborowska both qualified for the NCAA II Outdoor Track and Field Championship. They will be competing in Pueblo, Colo., on May 24-26.
