PUEBLO, Colo. – Harding senior
Cathy Ebenja placed 16th of 23 runners in the preliminaries of the 100-meter dash at the NCAA Division II Outdoor Track and Field Championships. She finished in 12.01 seconds and did not qualify for Saturday's 100-meter dash final.
Ebenja, a native of Little Rock, Ark., got out of the blocks well and was among the leaders in the second of three heats. She faded late and finished sixth of eight runners in her heat.
Latoya King, a junior from Lincoln (Mo.), had the fastest qualifying time at 11.50.
