University of the Ozarks Cross Country Invitational
Date: September 19th, 2017
Schedule: Order of events: Jr Girls 2M @ 4:30pm; Jr Boys 2M; Sr Girls 5K; Sr Boys 5K
(rolling start after first race). Course will be open Tuesday afternoon from 2:00 till the
start of the first race. Coaches meeting @ 4:00pm near finish line.
Location: University of the Ozarks Cross Country Trails; Take Exit 58 for AR 103 S
(S Rogers Street), 0.2 mi turn onto AR 103 S/S Rogers St (going south), 0.2 mi turn
left onto Market St, 0.5 mi turn right onto paved drive after Wal Mart (River Valley
Animal Products Drive), course will be on the left.
Description: The course is grass/dirt mix of field and wooded areas. It is a looped
course which passes by the start/finish area each lap. Cut through trails allow for
spectators and coaches to observe the race in most parts of the wooded areas.
Awards: The top Sr/Jr girls and boys team will receive an award. Top 10 individuals in
each race will also receive medals. Results may be split 1a 4a and 5a 7a to
accommodate entries. Awards ceremony after completion of Sr Boys race.
Registration: $40 per team (max 20 individuals, additional runners will be $5 per entry);
unattached and individuals will be $10. Please register on MileSplit by September 17th
@ 12:00 pm for the convenience of the race director! Additions after the deadline will
NOT be allowed (contact Coach Provence for changes that occur after the deadline)!
