ULM CROSS COUNTRY COMPETES IN CHILE PEPPER FESTIVAL

FAYETTEVILLE, Ark.--- Seven members of the ULM cross country teams competed individually in the Arkansas Chile Pepper Festival on Saturday in Fayetteville, Ark.


Maya Aden led the way for the ULM men finishing 26th out of 288 runners. The senior standout ran the race in under thirty minutes, impressively completing the 10-kilometer race in 29:53.1. Senior Matt Brophy (31:55.6) finished 121st. Senior Nathan Hall (34:42.1) finished 242nd and freshman Seth Hall (34:47.6) finished 244th.


Junior Amy Harris (23:03.06) finished 153rd out of 347 runners in the women\'s 6K. Junior Jessica Baldino (23:21.1) finished 175th. Junior Amanda Bartlett started the race, but was unable to finish.


\"We had a great day,\" said cross country coach Toby Reep. \"I am very pleased with the way everyone ran today.\" This was a great effort and we feel really good about our chances heading into conference.\"


The Warhawks next meet will be the Sun Belt Conference Championships on Oct. 28 in Little Rock, Ark.
