3
New world junior indoor record for Mondo over the weekend.
4
US #1 6.66 in the 60m and a PR in the 200m. Your badass stat of the week is that Brendon Stewart and Nick Cross are now the #1 single season/same team 60m duo ever!
5
Inactive (Injury held him out of USAs. Hopeful to return at nationals).
6
Two PA state titles in the 60m & 200m.
7
Ayden Owens ran 7.82 or faster three times on his way to winning the PA state meet in the 60H and finished second to Austin Kratz in the 200m.
8
4:04 mile for Brodey Hasty running in a pro field in Boston. The pace may have been too much for him early on with the leaders aiming to go under 3:55. Hasty hung onto the back of the pack as long as he could but wasn't able to get closer to sub-4.

Marcellus Moore ran well out in Illinois tying his 60m best.
12
It was a laid back week for East Orange resting their top guys from the relays. Lindo ran the 55H at the NJ Meet of Champs and was 8th in the prelims.
13
With Brodey Hasty up in Boston, Scott Thompson was forced to go solo in the mile but still managed a decent 4:17. More impressive was his 1:52 800m PR that moves him up to US #2.
14
Mario Heslop had a busy week early on and wasted no time moving up the national sprint rankings. He ran 6.26 in the 55m, 21.90 in the 200m, and 48.7 in the 400m.

Potomac had a great weekend at the VA State Championships. Donovan Louis won a title in the 55m and 4x200m, then finished second in the long jump.
21
Coming off his huge weekend, Johnson raced at the MI State Meet but a much more casual 9:26 3200m.

With the sprints heating up all around the country, Donnie James needed to get big results this weekend at the MI State Meet. He took over the #4 spot in the country for the 400m after a wild finish, beating James Flournoy by just .02s. He also helped Oak Park run under 3:20 in the 4x400m.
24
James Flournoy had a monster final 100m in his big race this week but it wasn't enough to beat Donnie James. It is enough to advance into the top five in the US.
25
Ryan Oosting has been one of the big surprises of the indoor season at the national level. Really interested to see how he will compete against the top ranked runners in the post season. Oosting ran a US #1 9:08 in the two mile this week and also posted a 4:12 in the mile.

1:22 600m for Gatewood to get in some speed work ahead of the NY state meet.
36
Solid 47.9 indoor PR for Miles Green during his PA State Meet winning race. He's also just .4s off his outdoor PR now. He also contributed to his team's 3:19 4x400m to win a second state title.
37
Massive breakout weekend for Nick Cross. He finished right behind his teammate Brendon Stewart in the 60m with a US #2 6.68. He's a part of their US #2 4x200m team and ran a solid 200m.

Theo Burba has been flirting with the national lead in the 600m all season long. He came up just short again, running 1:20 for the third week in a row.
45
Calvin Perkins edged out Burba in the 600m and is only the second athlete this year under 1:20 in this event.

Tahje Flemmings was third in the 200m at Eastern States but it's a new all season PR and his first time under 22.00.

Liam Conway had himself a day at the PA State Champs. He won the 800 and mile. He's now top five in the US in the 800m and moving up in the mile.

EXPLAINING MILESPLIT50:

These are subjective rankings of the top 50 athletes across all indoor track and field events. Feel free to reach out to MileSplit via email (travis.miller@flosports.tv) or on Twitter (@milesplit or @TravisMillerFlo)

Here are the attributes MileSplit considered when ranking athletes (in no particular order):

- IAAF points for ballpark numbers to compare performances across different events

- PRs

- Returning indoor track & field rankings

- Significant wins/results in previous indoor seasons

- More weight on "championship" events (I took stats and performances from ALL events into consideration, but championship events are more important at the national level)

- Participation in relays

- 2018 indoor track & field results

- Indoor competition frequency (these are rankings for indoor track & field, not necessarily the best all around XC/indoor/outdoor athletes)
