Q: What does your training look like right now given the current situation?

A: My training is mainly indoor exercises; such as core workouts & leg strengthening auxiliaries. Frequent runs also.

Q: What are you doing to stay busy other than run right now? A: A lot of movies and series on Netflix, Hulu, and Disney Plus. Q: What was your most memorable race/moment?

A: My first year running track (2018), I was a sophomore, I was state champion in two events, the 100 and 200 meter dash. I did not have proper coaching or training and I was a nervous wreck!

Q: What was the funniest thing that happened during your running career?

A: When everyone was laughing because I beat the other girls in my heat on February 25, 2020 in Meridian MS.

Q: Who would you consider your biggest competition over your four years? A: Olivia Womack and Diandrenique Gaines.

Q: What was your greatest accomplishment?

A: My greatest accomplishments were being able to bounce back from an ACL, MCL, and meniscus tear and be faster than i ever was before.

Q: If you could do it all over again what would you change about your running career in high school?

A: NOTHING!

Q: What were the most difficult obstacles you had to overcome?

A:say the most difficult was people doubting my ability to be fast again.knew in my heart that I could push myself to be the best, but sometimes even that wasn't enough to stay mentally strong.

Q: What will you miss the most?

A: I will miss getting to be the captain of my team! Q: What advice would you give to younger athletes?

A: My advice to younger athletes is to tune out all of the negative energy being thrown their way and be the best athlete they can be! Whether it be track or competitive fishing, no one should be able to take you off your game. As Nicki Minaj said, "You have to be a beast. That's the ONLY way they respect you!"

Q: What kind of an impact has your coach had on you and your team?

A: Coach Walker has always been one of the "good guy" coaches. Instead of yelling, her go to attitude was to inform us of what we need to do in order to succeed. She has never failed to help me in track related issues, drama, school related issues, or recruitment processes. I wholeheartedly respect her and everything she has done for me!

Q: What are your college plans?

A: I am committed to Mississippi State University to be a sprinter!

Q: Who would you like to say 'thank you' to?

A: I DEFINITELY WANT TO THANK MY MOTHER! Without her support I would be going to a community college barely passing through life. I would always feel a sense of hopelessness. Also to my family because they have helped me in any and every way that they could.

Q: Is there anything else you'd like to add?

A: Without God's love for me I would not be the high caliber athlete that I am today! Q: Favorite Meal?

A: Bourbon Street Chicken and Shrimp for dinner. For breakfast it would have to be Bacon and Orange Juice

Q: If you could be any animal what would you choose? and why?

A: I would want to be a monkey. Monkeys are smart and are adorable!

Q: Your favorite superhero?

A: My favorite superhero is Storm.
