COLUMBIA, Mo.- After falling behind by double-digits early the Arkansas-Pine Bluff Golden Lions fought hard to finish the game as they dropped a 88-70 decision to the Missouri Tigers on the road.
The Golden Lions trailed Missouri 40-29 at the break as they were led offensively by center Lebaron Weathers who put up more impressive numbers in non-conference action. Weathers went 6-of-13 from the floor and grabbed 12 rebounds capping off a double-double performance.
Terrance Calvin regained his hot shooting hand from the floor as he netted 15 points while dishing out five assists. Tavaris Washington chipped in 10 points to round out the list of UAPB double digit contributors.
Arkansas-Pine Bluff now has two games remaining before the start of conference play as they will now get set to face Kansas State on Dec. 21.
