PINE BLUFF, Ark.- The University of Arkansas-Pine Bluff Department has announced that Tim Munn will no longer serve as Head Softball Coach effective immediately. Munn went 10-48 in two seasons at the helm of the Lady Lions softball program.
Kayla Curbow has been named Interim Head Coach. During her time with the softball team Curbow has assisted the Lady Lions softball program in all facets. She was named assistant softball coach at Arkansas-Pine Bluff in August of 2009.
The Paris, Arkansas native spent her playing days at Ouachita Baptist University, where she was a three-time Gulf South All-Conference First Team Member at shortstop. She led the Lady Tigers in hitting during her sophomore campaign posting a .371 batting average.
Curbow graduated from OBU in 2007 with a bachelor's degree in Kinesiology. She is currently pursuing a master's degree in Sports' Administration.
