PINE BLUFF, Ark.- University of Arkansas-Pine Bluff Head Women's Basketball Coach Cary Shelton has announced the addition of five student-athletes to the program.
“We were able to address many of our needs with the additions of Morgan Kilgore, Charnecia McRae, Shante Thomas, Chetavia Rutherford, and Markita Quarles,” said Shelton. “All of the student-athletes that we were able to sign have shown the talent and fundamental skills it takes to be solid players in our conference.”
Last season the UAPB Lady Lions finished 7-11 in Southwestern Athletic Conference play. Arkansas-Pine Bluff went on to lose in the first round of the 2010 SWAC Tournament to the Southern Jaguars 64-60.
