Lady Lions Softball Falls To Southern 9-4

IRONDALE, Ala.-Southern's Shawntall Steamer went 3-for-4 while scoring two runs to help the #2 Lady Jaguars post a 9-4 victory over #4 Arkansas-Pine Bluff.

Propelled by a six-run third inning, the Jaguars built an early lead and held on to stay alive in the tourney. Victoria Stewart added two hits in the game while Aruba Nicholas brought in a game-high three runs.

CeCe Kolesar led the way for the Lady Lions with three hits, three runs and an RBI. Arkansas-Pine Bluff concludes the season with a 6-29 overall record while going 6-11 in conference play.
