ST. LOUIS, Mo. - Josh Boudreaux ran for a touchdown and threw three scoring passes to Raymond Webber as Arkansas-Pine Bluff defeated Clark Atlanta 35-19 on Saturday in the Gateway Classic.
Inside the Edward Jones Dome, Webber caught 11 passes for 162 yards for the Golden Lions (1-2) while setting a school record for receptions in a contest (11).
Arkansas-Pine Bluff, which led Division II Clark Atlanta (2-2) by a point at halftime, took control during a five-minute span in the second half.
Webber had a 12-yard TD catch on the last play of the third quarter, and, after a Panthers turnover, caught a 43-yard scoring toss to make the score 28-13 with 10:50 remaining.
Boudreaux was 16 of 24 for 212 yards, and Justin Billings rushed for 110 yards and a touchdown on nine carries for the Golden Lions.
Arkansas-Pine Bluff will now get set to travel to Baton, Rouge, La. to face the Southern Jaguars at A.W. Mumford Stadium on Saturday, Oct. 2nd at 6:00 p.m.
