BIRMINGHAM, Ala.- University of Arkansas-Pine Bluff wide receiver Raymond Webber has been the Southwestern Athletic Conferences' Offensive Player of The Week after a superb outing last week.
Playing back in his home town at the Gateway Classic, Webber set a UAPB record with 11 receptions for 162 yards and 3 touchdowns to lead the Golden Lions to a 35-19 victory over Clark-Atlanta.
Webber leads the nation in receptions per game at 9.67 and is 3rd in the country in receiving yards per game at 123.33. He is also on pace to break UAPB's record for reception in a career which currently stands at 149.
