Cale Sutulovich, So. - Siloam Springs
Sutulovich has won three throws events in eight tries this spring season and will be one of the state's most competitive shot put and discus athletes for years to come.
The sophomore owns the best mark in the two events for the Class of 2028, having thrown 147-9 in the discus and 49-1 in the shot put. He is someone you will want to keep a close eye on over the next two years.

Maggie Bishop, So. - Providence Academy
Being that this is the last article I write for Milesplit Arkansas this spring, I felt as if it was only right I feature Providence Academy's next distance star - and it just so happens to be her sister.
The sophomore, sister of Arkansas' greatest distance runner of all-time, has enjoyed an incredible start to her high school career, adding some impressive personal bests to her resume. This season, she sits atop the state in the 800m, running an AR #1 time of 2:14.62 en route to victory at the Y Timing Running Festival. When Gabbie departs for Fayetteville next fall, expect the younger Bishop to take her throne as the distance queen of 3A.

Kori London Poole, Fr. - Little Rock Central
She is undefeated in field events this spring, winning two competitions in the long jump and triple jump each this season.
Last night at the Joe Reese Memorial Relays, the freshman from LR Central set new AR FR #1 marks in the two events en route to winning the pair of jump events and is going to be a real problem for the rest of the state in a couple of years.

Kendall Johnson, Fr. - Batesville
The freshman from Batesville has picked up five wins across nine races and five events this season. Most recently on Tuesday at the Jr. Arnold Relays, he won the 100m, 200m, and 400m dashes, setting two personal bests.
His times in the two shorter sprint events are the fastest run by a freshman in 2026 and he is ranked inside the top 30 in 5A for both events.
