Bryant High School swept the boys relays and leaned on depth across events, while a balanced group of contenders - led by North Little Rock, Cabot and Bryant - highlighted the girls competition at the 6A South Conference Meet on Monday.

Bryant controlled the meet behind sprint depth and relay dominance. Deandre Brewer (11.15) and Keenan Latin (11.21) went 1-2 in the 100 meters, while LR Central's Kaleb Brown won the 200 (22.65). Bryant answered in the 400 with a 1-2 finish from Keigon Garrison (49.65) and Ethan Kantner (49.66).
Jonesboro's distance group stood out. Harper Huckabee won the 800 (1:56.77) and placed second in the 1,600, where teammate Hudson Copeland took the title (4:27.70). Catholic's Asher Found won the 3,200 (9:53.62).
Bryant swept the 4x100 (42.81), 4x200 (1:27.47) and 4x400 (3:28.03) relays. Conway claimed the 4x800 (8:23.55).
In the field, Conway's Jayden Turner won the long jump (21-7.25), and Jonesboro's Jaylen Heard captured the triple jump (45-7.25). Bryant's Wyatt Nelson won the pole vault (13-2), while Cabot's Cooper Powell led the discus (165-5) and Bryant's Gavin Momon took the shot put (47-10).
Girls Recap
North Little Rock's Kynnedi Neal was the top sprinter, winning the 100 meters (12.29) into a headwind and the 200 meters (25.21). Bryant's Cicely Russ placed second in both events (12.70, 25.32) and added a runner-up finish in the 400 (58.15).
LR Southwest's Kimora Garcia won the 400 (57.57) and placed fourth in the 200, giving her one of the top all-around sprint performances of the meet.
Cabot controlled the distance events. Savannah Fisher swept the 800 (2:22.40) and 1,600 (5:11.28), while Jonesboro's Lauren Thompson won the 3,200 (11:33.18) after placing second in the 1,600 and third in the 800.
Bryant dominated the hurdles. D'Ariah Harris (15.35) and Dakota McNab (15.54) went 1-2 in the 100 hurdles, while Jonesboro's Lynlee Taku won the 300 hurdles (47.52) with McNab second.
Relays were split among contenders. Bryant won the 4x100 (49.70) and 4x200 (1:41.64), Cabot took the 4x400 (4:12.08), and Conway claimed the 4x800 (9:58.07).
Field events added key points for Cabot. Chloe Brown won the triple jump (36-6) and placed in the long jump, while teammate Noelle Zoller took the long jump title (17-5) and added points in multiple events. Cabot's Tatum Fuhram won the pole vault (10-0).
Bryant's Harris added a high jump title (5-2) and placed second in the long jump. Conway's Cora Altom led the discus (118-6), while Cabot's Karmen Jackson won the shot put (35-8).
Across both meets, team success came from depth. Bryant's boys established control through relays and sprints, while the girls competition remained balanced among North Little Rock, Cabot and Bryant heading into the state meet.
