MAGGIE BISHOP (Providence Academy)--Opened up her junior win with a 17:31 win at the True Dermatology Shiloh Saints Invitational. It's the second year in a row Bishop has opened her season with a win. Last year, it was the Take Flight Night 5K where Bishop ran an 18:37.
KAELYN ALLEN (Shiloh Christian)-- the freshman led host Shiloh Christian to a win in their season opener. Allen ran a 19:21 to finish third at the True Dermatology Shiloh Saints Invitational. Shiloh Christian had all five runners to finish in the top five as the team scored 29 points, 46 points better than runner-up Fayetteville.
MIA MCFARLAND (Maumelle Charter)--Opened up her sophomore year with a win at her home meet-the Falcon Run Invitational. McFarland's time was 18:49. It's the second-straight year McFarland has opened with a win at the Falcon Run Invitational. However, it's the first time that McFarland has broken the 19:00 barrier. McFarland's time ranks No. 25 all-time in MileSplit Arkansas' database.
HAYLEE PENNINGTON (LR Christian Academy)--Pennington led her LR Christian Academy team to a win at Maumelle Charter's Falcon Run Invitational. Pennington's time was 20:35.
ELLIE O'NEAL (Conway)--Won the Perryville Mustang Invitational with a 2500 meter time of 9:55. Led by O'Neal, Conway placed five runners in the top 11 to run away with the team competition. Conway scored 26, 50 points less than runner-up DeQueen.
