Elkins Cross Country Invitational

Date: Saturday, September 10th, 2016
Times: 8:00a.m. High School Girls
8:30a.m. High School Boys
9:00a.m. Jr. Girls (7th, 8th, & 9th)
9:30a.m. Jr. Boys (7th, 8th, & 9th)
A rolling start will be used if we fall behind.
Awards: Medals to the top fifteen individuals in each division and in all three classifications 1A-3A, 4A-5A, and 6A-7A. In the 6A-7A they are going to be split into 7th & 8th grade division and 9th grade division. Trophies will be given to the top two teams in each division and in all three classifications.
Location: This years meet site is at our High School Campus the same as last year. It is located in front and to the west of the New High School building with the finish on the 50 yard line of the Football field. If you are traveling from Fayetteville you will take Highway 16 East to Elkins Public School the New High School is located on the Left side of the Highway West of the Football Field.
Course: The course is relatively flat course, so it should have some fast times.
Info: T-shirts will be on sale at the meet for $10. Water will be provided for runners. Additional snacks will be available at a concession stand at the meet.
Costs: Entries are $45 per team. (If you have a Sr. Boys team and a Sr. Girls team that will be $90 total) For incomplete teams the cost is $10. per runner. Make checks payable to Elkins High School Cross Country. We will be chip timed this year which should make things go smoother. We will be entering through www.armilesplit.com this year; there is no limit to the number of athletes you can enter.

Parking: Bus will be dropping off teams at the football field and then parking in the parking lot in front of the High School like last year. Cars will be parked in the Middle School, Elementary, Primary Parking Lots, and New Gym Parking Lot.
Admission: Please remind your parents there will be admission to the meet
$2.00 for Adults & $1.00 for students 5 and up.
