FRIDAY, MARCH 8, 2019 Springdale Schools Invitational
This is for all High School Varsity Track teams. Entry fee is $50 per gender team ($100 total) for all Non-6A West High Schools. Please email abumsted@sdale.org if you would like to come to our meet. Sorry but this is an invitational.

Springdale Public Schools is excited to host the first ever track meets at Springdale High School this season. Construction was just completed on a one of kind "broken" curve track. We are ready for fast times and hopefully plenty of pre-qualifying for state! This is a certified track meet!

Field Events will start at 3:30 pm and Running Events will start at 5:00 pm due to the throwing situation.
Throwing Situation
Due to some construction issues our shotput and discus rings WILL NOT be ready in time for the meet. However, we will STILL BE able to hold throwing events. Thankfully the old SPS track at Southwest Junior High has two shot put and two discus rings available for us to use. SW is 1.5 miles from Springdale High. All throwing athletes will need to be dropped off at SW rather than SHS. There will be a shuttle bus that will bring athletes back to SHS starting at 3:45 pm. All athletes that will need to get back to the track for running events and field events will be allowed to throw first while at SW. We have pushed the starting of the running events back to 4:15 pm to accommodate this inconvenience. Since we will have four rings going, all throws should be finished by 5 pm.

Registration
Registration will open on ar.milesplit.com until Friday, March 8, 2019 at 11 am.

Entry Fee
$50 per gender team for Non-6A West Teams.
Bathrooms & Concession Stands
Both bathrooms & concessions stands will be located near the main competitive gym located just North of the track. There will also be porta potties on sight as well.
Team Camps & Bus Parking
NO TEAM CAMPS in the bleachers!! All team camps will be located in the parking lot next to the main entrance of the competitive gym off of Pleasant St. Buses will drop off all athletes on Pleasant St. on the North end of the track. Buses will be parked using the parking lot just South of the track next to the Springdale Aquatic Center.
Warm-Up Areas
Due to the conditions of our infield. NO ONE will be allowed to warm-up on the inside of the track. There will be a street blocked off by the Springdale Police Department that will be an ideal place for the athletes to warm-up.
Coaches Meeting
Coaches Meeting at 3 pm in the hospitality room inside SHS.
Field Events Beginning at 3:30 pm
There will be no finals for any field event. Each participant will get 4 jumps or throws in SP, Disc, LJ & TJ. Three attempts per height in HJ & PV.
Pole Vault: Girls followed by Boys (Min: Girls 8' 0" / Boys 10' 0")
High Jump: Boys followed by Girls (Min: Girls 4' 2" / Boys 5' 2")
Long Jump: Girls followed by Boys (Min: Girls 14' 0" / Boys 17' 0")
Triple Jump: Boys followed by Girls (Min: Girls 25' 0" / Boys 35' 0")
Shot Put #1: Girls (Min: Girls 25' 0")

Awards
Team trophies will be given out to the first and second place in each division. High point athlete awards will also be given out in both divisions as well. 1st place medals and 2nd - 8th place ribbons will be given out in event of all divisions.
