Meet Information
Schools will be hosting the 7th/8th grade track meet on Monday, March 9, 2020 to be held at the Har-Ber High track and field complex. This meet is only open to the following schools:
Central, Southwest, George, Lakeside, Woodland, Ramay, Siloam Springs
REGISTRATION:
You will register online via ar.milesplit.com by Sunday, March 7, 2020 until
11:00pm. Busses can drop off athletes to the track and then park on the
north side of the football stadium at Har-Ber High School.
SCHEDULE:
All teams report to the
Springdale Har-Ber High School track and field by 3:00 pm. Coaches meeting will be held at 3:15 PM. The Pole Vault warm up will begin at 3:00 pm with the remaining Field Events starting at 3:30 PM. Open 800 at 3:45. 4x800 relay will start at 4:00. Other running events will begin at 4:15 PM.
ENTRIES: 3 athletes per school, per individual event and one team per relay event are permitted.
FIELD EVENTS: There will be no prelims. Each athlete will get 4 throws in shot/disc and 4 attempts in
the horizontal jumps
Minimum heights/distances -
High jump Boys 4'6" Girls 4'
Pole Vault - Boys 6' Girls 5'6"
DIVISIONS:
There will be four divisions: Boys and Girls. 7th and 8th grade.
Ribbons awarded to 1st - 8th place
TrOPHIES:
Awarded to 1st place girls and boys teams. The high point winner in both divisions will receive a plaque.
TEAM CAMPSITES: Please try and keep athletes out of the center section of the bleachers for parents and spectators.
TEAM POINTS: Awarded to 1st thru 8th places (10-8-6-5-4-3-2-1) in individual and relay events.
EQUIPMENT:
Springdale Schools will furnish all starting blocks to contestants. inch or shorter spikes are permitted.
HOSPITALITY ROOM: There will be a coaches and officials hospitality room in the gym area of Hellstern Middle School. (North of the track complex)
PARKING:
Please DO NOT PARK THE BUS IN THE PARKING LOT at the bus at the track. Unload at the track and park on the north side of Har-Ber High School football stadium.
Please try and keep all athletes not warming up, out of the infield. This might be a little difficult because high jump, long jump, triple jump, pole vault, and shot will be inside the track. Discus will be on the south end behind the fence.

Except for the HIGH JUMP and the POLE VAULT, athletes will have four attempts in the FIELD EVENTS cafeteria
style. We are asking that once the meet officially starts that all coaches and those not warming up for an event not be on the infield.
