Elkins Elks Jr. High Meet held on the New Elkins High School Track.

Times:

Track Meet will begin at 3:30 pm and the events will be scheduled in the order stated by the Arkansas Activities Association.

Entries: Close March 15that 6 pm to MileSplit:

1. Coaches: Please fill out the Covid screening form (This will be your printed roster for your athletes upon checking each athlete you will place a checkmark by their name if they passed the requirements please add any Coaches and managers to the roster as well)Please do complete this for your athletes and coaches as they board your bus to come to the meet. You will sign the form certifying that your team and coaches have been checked and are safe to attend the meet. These forms will be collected before you receive your packet.

2. Please bring sanitizer for their team and have your team remain at their tent except for racing, warming up, and using the restroom.

3. Please remind parents to wear masks and bring exact money for the gate ($5.00) to make the admission as contactless as possible.

4. Face coverings are required at all times for coaches, and are required for runners except for during and immediately prior to the race (not needed once they head to the start line)

5. There were will be additional areas for team camp this year. Please allow proper spacing between tents when setting up camps.

6. Registration will be $50 per team or $100 per school if the school wishes to participate in both the girls and boys divisions.

7. The schedule will be administered in regards to the Arkansas Activity Association guidelines8. We will not have a traditional awards ceremony. We will be mailing all medals and team plaques to the coaches the following week please make sure your mailing address is correct in mile split so we can get everyone their awards.

9. We will have sanitizer stations at bathroom areas. And at the entrance to the stadium

10. We need your help with asking parents to social distance. Parents will be asked to remain in the stadium bleachers or on the asphalt area around the track.

11. Please instruct runners to head back to the tent immediately after finishing their race. They will need to place masks or face covering back on after competing.

12. Our concession stand will be open. They will be using the required precautions. Proper distancing will be required in the line.

13. Layout of the starting box grid.Y-timing will assign the boxes and waves for the race.

14. We are Excited you are attending the Elkins meet this year and looking forward to seeing everyone.I know there are a lot of new procedures this year but we want to do everything we can to make this Track Season Successful. Looking forward to seeing you on March 16th.

Info:We will have a T-Shirt vendorFine designthere will be a larger variety of shirts & running gear, prices of the products will vary. Water will be provided for runners. Additional snacks will be available at a concession stand at the meet.Costs:Entries are $50. per team. (If you have a Sr. Boys team and a Sr. Girlsteam that will be $100. total) For teams with over 40 athletes add an additional $1.00 per athlete. If you are a 6-A school that has a 7th-9th grade in the same school and you enter a 9th-grade team and a 7th and 8th-grade team each team is $50. For incomplete teams, the cost is $12. perrunner. Make checks payable to Elkins High School Cross Country. We will bechip timed again this year by Y Timing LLC. We will be enteringthroughwww.armilesplit.com; there is no limit to the number of athletes you can enter.

Parking:Bus will be dropping off teams and parking at theparking lot in front of the High School like last year. Cars will be parked in the Middle School, Elementary, Primary Parking Lots, andGym Parking Lot.

Admission:Please remind your parents there will be admitted to the meet$5.00 per person
