For the first time in a while, Florida sent three girls to Foot Locker Nationals. Ana Wallace recorded the third highest finish ever by a Sunshine State athlete when she placed sixth while Alyssa Hendrix was 18th, and Bailey Hertenstein succumbed to sickness after mile one and had to drop out. Both Wallace and Hertenstein won state championships in their respective classifications. The Chiles senior guided her to squad to the team title as well while Hertenstein picked up her third consecutive 4A crown.
