Team:
The 4A boys team race is a one horse show here at Oaklawn Park (pun intended). The men from Heber Springs High School will have little competition for the team title on Saturday. Led by Parker Ables and Jesse Applewhite, they should have all five runners in the top 15. Huntsville High School has the lowest 1-5 split of all the teams (1:06) but only one runner inside of Heber's top 5.
Prediction:
1st - Heber Springs
2nd - Huntsville
3rd - Mena
Individual:
The individual title will come down to a battle of teammates! Returning state XC runner-up Parker Ables and State outdoor 1600m champion Jesse Applewhite will battle down to the wire. Their head to head battles have been very close with Parker taking the last few races.
