Maumelle High School is the leader for the 5A boys team title but close behind lurks the Goblins from Harrison. If Harrison's 4-5-6 runners have a perfect day they may be able to pull off the upset.

The individual champion will come from the same two teams. Outdoor State 3200m Champion Dylan Douglas from Maumelle and returning State XC Champ Seth Waters from Harrison.
