Team:
The 5A team title could and should be a repeat from last year! The ladies from Little Rock Christian Academy with 3 of their top 5 returning from last years state champion team should cruise to an easy team win. The race for the runner-up is a little bit closer. Vilonia High School and Dequeen High School could be a very close race if DeQueen could have just one of their girls step up and have a great day. Their average team times are only 12 seconds apart and DeQueen actually has a better 1-5 split of 58 seconds compared to Vilonia's 1:37. The biggest difference is Vilonia's #1 Bryn Westby should be a good 8 to 10 places ahead of DeQueen's #1.

Individual:
The individual race should be an easy prediction if these girls times hold true. But strange things happen! Rachel Barnhardt from Greenbrier High School has the fastest time of the season running 19:15 at the Bryant Inv. but ran 19:57 at the Lake Hamilton Inv. Jillian Jones from Batesville ran 19:43 just a few weeks ago on the state meet course at the Lake Hamilton Inv. beating Rachel. I think a coin flip is in order here!!!!
