A freshman took center stage in the Brooks PR 100m.
It was Alicia Burnett's welcome moment to the national scene. She powered past her competition on Saturday in a winning time of 11.92 seconds.
It was also Burnett's first national performance after sweeping the sprints -- 100, 200, 400 -- at the Missouri Track and Field Championships.
