EL PASO, Texas- Joshua Boudreaux completed 20-of-32 passes for 202 yards in a 31-10 loss to the University of Texas El Paso Miners on Saturday night.
After the teams traded touchdowns to open the game, Joe Banyard gave the Miners the lead for good on a one-yard scoring run early in the second quarter.
The Golden Lions drew to within four points after a 38-yard Chris Ewald field goal bringing the score to 14-10 going into halftime. UTEP went on to put together scoring drives of 66 and 62 yards in the third period to seal the contest.
UAPB's Raymond was spectacular throughout the evening tallying 10 catches for 123 yards. UTEP accumulated 463 yards of offense on the day while the Golden Lions tallied 278 yards of total offense.
Arkansas-Pine Bluff will open conference play at AlabamaState on Saturday at 7:00 p.m. The game can be heard live on KUAP 89.7.
