Meet Information

Admission

$5 for spectators

Entry Fee

$150 per team. Boy's and Girl's teams count separately.

$15 per individual athlete.

Unattached athletes are allowed at $15 per individual.

Entry Fees will be based on entries not participation. No Refunds.

Entries

All entries need to be submitted through MileSplit.com.

Deadline: 9 p.m. on Wednesday before the meet.

Maximum of four athletes per event.

Maximum of two relays per relay event.

There will be a cut-off of 30 total competitors in the following events: Pole Vault, Shot Put and Weight Throw.

IF YOU ARE TRYING TO ENTER AN UNATTACHED RELAY, please e-mail Eric Putnam directly at edp002@marietta.edu with the following information: 1. Team name, 2. Relay to participate, 3. Relay member names and 4. Projected performance.

No entries will be accepted the day of the meet.

Please notify meet director of any scratches no later than the day before the meet!!!

A performance list confirming all entries will be available on this page on the Thursday prior to the meet by 5 p.m. if not earlier.

Athletic Training

An ATC and student assistants will be on hand to assist with injuries and emergencies during the competition.

Taping can be done by our athletic trainers but participating athletes will need to supply the taping materials.

There will be no access to advanced equipment (ultra-sound, stimulation, etc.).

Ice will be available.

Facility

200m Mondo Super-X, installed in December 2002.

6 lanes (36"), 8 lane sprint straight (42"). (Only 7 lanes will be used in 55m hurdles.

Horizontal jump runway is Mondo.

Pole vault runway is instant runway. 1/4" spikes are permitted on the instant runway.

High jump apron is Mondo (Sportsflex).

Throwing events will be from wood.

There are four in-ground triple jump boards available for competition at the following distances from the pit: 24 ft., 28 ft., 36 ft., and 41 ft.

Spike Rule

Only 1/4" or less Pyramid or Christmas Tree spikes will be allowed.

NO Pins or Needle Spikes will be allowed.

The clerk will be checking spike length just before the races. If your athlete is in violation of this rule, he/she will not be allowed to participate.

Performance List

Will be posted by 12:00 p.m. on Thursday before the meet.

Implements

Weigh-ins will take place 90 minutes before competition begins and end 60 minutes after the start of competition.

Results

Posted as available on the results board in the main concourse.

Full results will be available shortly after the meet and will also be available on our Web page at http://pioneers.marietta.edu.

Drop Off/Parking

PLEASE ENTER THROUGH THE MAIN ENTRANCE NEAR MIDDLE OF CAMPUS.

Parking on campus is limited, therefore buses are to unload on Butler Street (see campus map for location), and then please go park at the Hermann Fine Arts lot across the street from the Dyson-Baudo Center.

Vans and spectators may park in the lot next to Hermann Fine Arts Building (see campus map), or in available spaces on campus or adjacent to campus.

Concessions

There will be a concession stand open.

Team Camps

Please set up team camps on the carpeted floor covering to the right and left of the pole vault pit.

Precautions

Please pay attention to the signage in the facility!

No spikes will be allowed on any of the camp floor covering or in the hallways.

No food or drinks will be allowed inside the track area. (Only water will be permitted inside the track.)
