7A Girls State Preview

There have been four different winners over the last four
years in the 7A Girls race. All from the 7A West! It looks like the 7A West
will dominate the top spots again this year. The ladies from Bentonville just
won the 7A West championship last week at the Mountie Classic with a 17 point
win over Rogers and Fayetteville. All of Bentonville's top 7 runners have 5k
times this season under 20 minutes and the top 5 have a split of an incredible
29 seconds. Fayetteville has been ranked
#2 in the Flo 50 7A rankings, but they have been dealing with sickness and
injury the last few weeks of the season. The Lady Mounties are running well and
always seem to peak at the right time. If all of the Fayetteville girls are
healthy, look for them to chase Bentonville and make this meet closer than you
think!
