6 Athletes That Are Absolutely Crushing The Outdoor Season

Matthew Boling, Houston Strake Jesuit (TX)

Boling is having the best season of any high school athlete in 2019 so far. That's pretty undisputed. Just look at the University of Georgia recruit's numbers. He's US No. 1 in the 100m with a wind-legal 10.22 (+1.3). He's also got the all conditions US No. 1 mark of 10.20 (+2.2). He's US No. 1 in the 200m with a time of 20.58 seconds, on a negative wind. And his long jump efforts have been out of this world, just recently putting down a US No. 1 and No. 7 all-time effort of 26-3.5 (+1.8). He also anchored his boys' 4x100 squad to a US No. 8 effort of 40.86 seconds.

The remarkable fact in all of this is that Boling continues to improve with each outing. And, yes, there will come a point where those crater shifts in improvement will stop. But by then, Boling will be feared unlike many athletes we've seen competing in high school track. His senior season is turning into the wrecking ball kind of season. He's the kind of talent you just don't want to miss.
