According to Milesplit, Valley View boys are picked to be the favorite BUT it appears that Brit Hawkins has managed to be counted twice in their team standings. If you take him out of the equation and take a point away from everyone who finished above him, they are still selected to win, but by a score of 92-94 over Pea Ridge. Pea Ridge has come a long way from their 6th place showing at the state meet, and they've managed to drop their team average down over 30 seconds since then. The two teams front runners, Brit Hawkins and Levi Schultz are nearly identical, as are their 1-5 splits and their #5 guys. This race is going to come down to who is cool, calm, and collected on the biggest stage, and who rises up to big occasions. I'm going to pick Pea Ridge by a hair, but I also think it's very possible that a team like DeQueen or Dardanelle sneaking in for a trophy. Side note, this could be the tightest race of the week.
