All Arkansas Academic Track & Field Team

The Arkansas Track Coaches Association selects an "All Arkansas Academic Team" each year. It is up to the coach to nominate the athlete for them to be considered. See the information at the bottom of this page on how to nominate your athletes. We will not be represented at the Arkansas Track & Field Hall of Fame Induction banquet this year because that banquet is limiting the amount of attendees. We hope to get that going again in 2022. The deadline for nominations is: Friday, June 5, 2021

The following are the qualifications for the academic team:

1) Must have a G.P.A. of at least 3.5.

2)  Needs to have taken the ACT test and made at least 25 or the SAT and made at least 1220.

3) Must have competed in the state track & field meet.

4) Could be one of your best athletes but does not have to be.

5) We are not looking for the athlete who is part of a lot of clubs or organizations etc. as part of this selection. Just those that have balanced their academic & athletic life with high successes in both.
