This year, the Bentonville boys cross country program has accomplished what very few teams have been able to do. They won a seventh consecutive Arkansas 6A state title and they qualified to the Nike Cross Nationals (NXN) this weekend in Portland, Oregon.
Before the season began, the team made it a goal to accomplish both feats and they carried out the plan with near perfect and precise execution of the overall season and the NXN qualification.
Coach Michael Power and the team took the time to discuss with MileSplit about how they accomplished their goals as well as their plans for this weekend's championship race.
