Progress is any forward or onward movement. It is what this sport is all about whether you run 16-minutes in 5K races or 23-minutes. Cross Country is about personal bests and getting better individually and as a team.
Although incremental improvements are the desire, the truth is it doesn't always happen and it doesn't happen overnight. Improvement takes time and in that duration dedication and commitment are requirements
