Gabbie Bishop has done it again!
The junior from Providence Classical picked up another big win on Saturday at the Springdale Schools Invitational. Against a field of 146, Bishop won by nearly a minute, crossing the line in 16:58.21 and running a 12 second personal best.
The win is Bishop's fifth of the season and is the 21st fastest time run in the country this season.
Bishop joins Lilly Beshears (16:40.40) as the second girl from the Natural State to run under 17:00 in the 5K this season. Arkansas is now just 1 of 6 states to have multiple sub 17:00 runners.
