HUNTSVILLE, Ala.- The Arkansas-Pine Bluff Lady Lions softball team won their fourth consecutive game on Wednesday defeating the Alabama A&M Lady Bulldogs 5-3.
A four run fourth inning allowed UAPB to overpower AAMU as the Lady Lions allowed only one additional Lady Bulldogs run to cross home plate the remainder of the game.
The win moves UAPB to 4-3 in conference play and into sole possession of second place in the SWAC's Western Division.
Arkansas-Pine Bluff will travel to Baton Rouge on April 9th and 10th to compete in a three-game series against the Southern Lady Jaguars.
