All athletes will have a numbered bib that they will wear. They will tear off the bottom of that tab and report that to the volunteers at the finish line. We will be using the FAT timing system that we have here at our school as well to capture the official times.
Awards: We will run everyone in one division for this meet. The winner of each division will receive a plaque. The Top 10 individuals in each divisions will receive a medal.
The course will be different from last year. We have added 2 new hills before the one that you ran on last year. We have had some construction on our campus and we are working hard to make the course as smooth as possible. The course is still mostly grass. It will be uneven sometimes, but again we are doing our best to make everything as smooth as possible. There will be two spots where runners will run over concrete. We will cross the road on the east side of the stadium. That road will be shut down for the day so there will be no traffic. The other spot will be a ditch that will have some black mats on the concrete and clearly marked. Runners will finish the race with 300M on the track to the finish line. We do plan to have a small concession stand open that will consist of water and Gatorade.
Buses may park on the south side of the stadium in the fenced in lot across from the football field.
Teams can receive their bibs/team packets at the corner of 10th St. and Lt. Goins Avenue.
Admissions to the meet will be as follows: $3 Students and $4 Adults
Gates will be in three places:
1. In front of Football Stadium
2. By the Alumni Center on Lt Goins Ave
