RIVER VALLEY JUNIOR HIGH CONFERENCE

TRACK RULES

1. Conference Meet:This meet will be run as a one day event.Each school will be assigned an event to run off. - USE ADULTS ONLY.

Assignments: Russellville--Timing system, Vilonia--meet management and curve judges, Greenbrier-- TripleJump, Morrilton--Long Jump, Clarksville--Discus, Searcy--Pole Vault, Beebe--Shot Put, Little Rock Christian--High Jump

2. Entries Per Event: Each school may enter three (3) people inrunning events; three (3) in distance

(800 and 1600 meters) and field events; and one (1) relay team.

3. Numberof Throws/Jumps:Each personwill be allowed four (4) jumps or four (4) throws total.NO

FINALS.

4. Awards: A plaque will be awarded to the TeamChampions and High Point Athlete in both the boys and girls division.Ribbons will be awarded to 1st thru 8th placewinners.

5. Times for LaneAssignments: Each coach is toturn in his runners' or team's best timefrom previous meets during the entire year.

6. Entries: Entries must be done through Milesplit. Deadline will be 10:00 am on the morning of the meet. No    adding will be allowed at the meet.

7. Admission: It is recommended that we charge $4.00 for Adults and Students.

8. Shotand Discus: Host school willprovide two rubber discus, two metal discus, and two shot puts for the meet,ALL PARTICIPANTS WILL USE THESE IMPLEMENTSONLY.

9. 800and 1600 Meter Runs: There willbe two (2) heats of the 800 and 1600 meter run.The fastest twelve (12) times will be in the fast heat and the rest inthe slow heat.We will use the waterfallalley start.

10. Meet Date: Conferencetrack meet date will always be the Tuesday or Thursday before the Senior HighConference track meet.

11. Uniforms:Mustbe school issued, no jewelry of any kind (beads in hair, etc.) no body piercing.
