ENTRIES: 3 entries in all events except relays, only one team entry per relay event.
ENTRY FEE: Entry fee for each team is $50. Boys and Girls team would be $100. Individuals $10 for non 7A West Teams. Please e-mail cclinton@sdale.org if you would like to come to our meet. Sorry but this is an invitational meet.
REGISTRATION, PLEASE NOTE: Registration is open online at milesplit.com Deadline to enter is Friday, March 13th, at 10:00am.
SCORING: We have hired Y-Timing to handle all timing and scoring at our meets.
FIELD EVENTS: There will be no prelims. Each athlete will get 3 throws in shot/disc and 3 attempts in the horizontal jumps. We will take the first jump or throw like indoor state and then if they do not make the minimum requirement it will not be scored.
Minimum heights/distances -
High jump Boys 5'2" Girls 4'4"
Pole Vault - Boys 10'6" Girls 9'
Shot - Boys 35' Girls 25'
Disc - Boys 100' Girls 60'
Long Jump - Boys 17' Girls 14'
Triple Jump - Boys 35' Girls 25'
BUSES: Buses will drop teams off in the Track/Tennis parking lot. For traffic and safety reasons, please arrive around 2:30. Hellstern Middle School will dismiss at 3:15 and the High School at 4:00. Please make your parents aware of that so they can plan to avoid those times.
TEAM CAMPS: Due to limited bleachers, please be prepared to bring your team tent for your team camp.
DIRECTIONS: From I-49 turn west on exit 72 (412/Sunset Ave.) Drive just over a mile and turn right onto Jones Road. You will pass by the front of Har-Ber High School and take a left at the light (Har-Ber Ave.) Buses will enter into the first entrance of Hellstern Middle School and be directed to the Track/Tennis Parking lot for drop off.
CONCESSIONS: There will be a concession stand with plenty of options for your athletes and their parents.
HOSPITALITY: Coaches Hospitality will be set up in the East Side of the Hellstern Middle School Gym. There will also be restrooms for Coaches only in the school. Please direct your teams to use the restrooms located in the concession stand building.
MEDALS: Medals will be given to 1st place and ribbons awarded to 2nd - 8th
TEAM TROPHIES: Awarded to 1st & 2nd place girls and boys teams. The high point winner in both divisions will receive a plaque.
COACHES MEETING: 3:15pm in the Hellstern Gym just North of the track.
