Meet Information
5th Annual Stuthard Stampede Cross Country Meet will be held on Tuesday, September the 15th , 2020 on the Acorn Cross Country Course. The race will start on west side of the Acorn Track.
All classifications will run together and the first race @ 3:45pm will be the Jr. Girls, all races after that will have a rolling start. Jr. Boys, Sr. Girls and Sr. Boys. The Jr. High races will be 1.5 and High School 5k.
There will be top 20 medals for each division. Cost is $25 per team or $5 per individual.
Team awards will be plaques for team champions and runner ups for each division.
ACORN CROSS COUNTY ATHLETIC COURSE VENUE PLANNING PROCEDURES
Please read all information and share this with your athletes and fans. Our plan is to provide a
competitive meet that promotes a safe environment.
PARKING: Maps of parking are attached at the end of these procedures.
Fans will park in the baseball field parking area. Fans will walk to the designated fan area. There is no admission.
School buses and other school transportation will park behind the Acorn New Gym and will walk to the athletic designated area.
Participates and Fans:
We ask that fans do not enter the team camp area, and that runners stay in their team camp unless warming up, competing, or cooling down.
Screening
Coaches will be required to screen athletes before entering the meet area. A screening form with all athletes and coaches listed and signed by the head coach will need to be submitted at the time of checkin. Any athlete or coach that does not pass the screening will not be allowed into the meet area. Upon check-in, coaches temperatures will be checked.
Masks/Distancing
All coaches, athletes, and fans must wear a face covering at all times, except for athletes while they arecompeting. Athletes should put their mask back on once breathing has returned to normal. The school teams will chose and area that is provided to provide personal social distancing and team distancing.

Fans will use the concession restrooms.
ATHLETES:
Athletes will use the Mary Davis Gym
Each restroom is equipped with ADH required sanitation. And each restroom area will be routinely sanitized.
CONCESSIONS: If it is decided to have concessions, the following will be followed.
There will be two concession areas, one for fans and athletes.
All ADH guidelines will be followed and only pre packaged items will be sold.
Starting Line: We will use the large field for all teams, in the field by baseball field. Boxes will be used and separated by six feet. We will use staggered starting lines if needed.
