Arkansas vs. Oklahoma All-Star Meet Information
Arkansas Team Information:
The Meet will be held at Rogers High School Cross Country Course (300 S Dixieland Rd, Rogers, AR 72758)
The state champion in each of the six Arkansas cross country classifications (1A, 2A, 3A, 4A, 5A, 6A) will qualify automatically. The next 17 fastest times at the state meet (regardless of classification) will also qualify. The final 3 spots on the roster are at-large picks determined by the Arkansas coaching staff.
Information sheets will be handed out at the Arkansas state meet to finishers who could potentially qualify. The list of Arkansas qualifiers will be posted on Facebook at "Arkansas All-Star Cross Country" and on X (formerly Twitter) at @BryantXC/Track by Monday evening after state meet. The list will also be posted to ar.milesplit.com. Athletes can confirm their participation through Facebook, Twitter, or directly to the coaches, whose contact information will be on the sheets handed out at state meet.
Registration and Pictures - 10:00 a.m.
Girls Race - 11:30 a.m. (5K)
Boys Race - 12:00 p.m. (5K)
The top 25 athletes from each state make up the state team.
The top 9 finishers from each state are scored as opposed to the traditional 5 scorers.
Medals are awarded to the 1st- 25th finishers in each race. Each member of the winning team (Arkansas or Oklahoma) will also receive a medal.
The results of the girls and boys racers will be combined and the winning state will keep the Arkansas/Oklahoma plaque for the year.
