5A Girls State Preview
Team
The ladies from Little Rock Christian look to make it 4 in a
row this Saturday when they toe the line in Hot Springs. Returning most of the
starters from last year's team, this looks to be an easy win. Just don't tell
that to the ladies from Pulaski Academy. PA runs with a much tighter pack with
a 1-5 split of 1:57 compared to LRC's 1-5 split of 3:04. On paper, PA should
have all 5 of their runners in before LRC's 4th runner. This could be a close
one!!!!

The top returning individual from last year's state meet is
Grace Ann Dickey from Little Rock Christian. She ran 19:49 last year in Hot Springs.
Her fastest time this year is 20:01 on this same course just a few weeks ago.
Her time ranks her in the top 5, but look for her to run fast on Saturday. The top 4 times this season go to Emily Leding
