The Bentonville girls lead the front pack at the 2022 MileSplit TX XC Inv.
The mad dash to the top of the podium that we are used to seeing from the Bentonville and Fayetteville girls will continue yet again.
Bentonville returns a great squad from last year with six of the top seven finishers at the 2022 6A state meet coming back. They data shows a possible 18:26 team average, but with a 1:45 deviation from the first to fifth runner. Look for that to be a point of emphasis for them this year.
The Fayetteville girls are going through more of a rebuild or should we say replace type of season. They graduated three of their top seven runners from 2022 state meet including their top two places. Fayetteville returns with a team average of 19:11 and a 1:31 split.
The Cabot girls are in a different boat than the top two team finishers from last year's state meet. They finished sixth last year in Hot Springs and ran a 20:45 average with a 1:59 split. They only had two seniors on the back end of the...
