Everly O'Daniel has won the Milesplit Arkansas Girls Preseason Runner of the Year poll.
O'Daniel is entering her junior season at Bentonville and is coming off a 4th place finish at the 6A State Championships in the 3,200m this spring. The sophomore finished 4th at the Arkansas Meet of Champions in the 3,200m and ran an AR #8 in the 3,200m.
Last fall O'Daniel ran a season best time of18:53.42 en route to winning the Springdale Schools Invitational, which was the 17th fastest time in the state.
Entering her junior season, O'Daniel is poised to be one of the top runners in the state and challenge for a state title in 6A as an individual and alongside her team.
