After months of anticipation and speculation, the Arkansas high school cross country season is finally upon us.
I've spent much of the summer featuring some of the best athletes across the Natural State, highlighting some of the very best teams and individuals that Arkansas has to offer.
Now, with the starting line just a few days away, there's very little speculation left to do. The ball is now in your court and it's time for you to reap what you've sown this summer.
But before we do that, it's time for my favorite part of the offseason - power rankings.

After doing this for the past year, I have learned this is also one of your favorite articles I write. For what it's worth, this is just a fun exercise. Very little stock should be put into these rankings (especially in the preseason), but I do think this is a fun way to create anticipation for the upcoming season and even provide a little motivation for those who believe they should be ranked or ranked higher.
Just like the rest of this week, if you're left out of these rankings, prove me wrong. If you are ranked, prove me right. Regardless, I can't wait for the season and hope everybody is as excited for the upcoming season as I am.
Today, I am going unveil my top 11 preseason boys team rankings. Let's jump into it.
