Girls Race
The girls race featured some of the best individuals and teams in the state. Providence Academy and Bentonville had there fingerprints all over the results sheet and posted strong performances.
Gabbie Bishop became the second girl from Arkansas to run under 17:00 minutes en route to her fifth win of the season on Saturday, while her sister Maggie Bishop finished 2nd.
Nora Wise finished third in just her second high school 5K. The freshman from Rogers Heritage enjoyed a breakout race, running a two minute personal best and crossing the line in 18:39.21. Jane Adams continued the scoring for Providence Academy in 4th, while Carley Cole began Bentonville's run in 5th.
The Tigers scored 2-3-4-6-7-8-9 through seven in the 5A/6A team race, flexing their depth once again.
Litzy Garcia also had a spectacular day for Gravette, finishing 12th and running a 41 second personal best time in 19:41.13.
